We offer professionally developed examination syllabi in Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Dance Fusion, with a structured pathway that supports progressive technical development while remaining flexible to meet the needs of individual students and schools.
We inspire and motivate students through performance opportunities, competitions, and learning experiences with industry professionals, helping them build confidence, grow as dancers, and create lasting memories.

Building Dance Communities
We provide opportunities for dance schools to participate in a variety of experiences, catering to students of all abilities.
Our prices are very competitive, as we believe that dance education should be affordable for all students. Exams are held in members’ own studios and students wear their own school’s uniform.

Members are able to purchase syllabus, music, DVDs, student music, and theory booklets. Access and discounts depend upon the level of membership.
Newsletter Updates
We keep all members up-to-date through our regular email newsletters featuring Southern Federation of Dance news, events, and updates.
Access Exams & Events
Members can access a range of SFD events, including Conventions, Masterclasses and Competitions. Premium Members may also enter students for examinations.
